Episode 74: Full Throttle "Love It!"

May 17, 2026
The morning of my appearance on Love It!. I was told, "The pickup car will be in front of your house at 5:30 AM."
I had been up since 4:00 AM, so I was standing outside waiting 15 minutes early.
I like to have plenty of time. Taking action with time to spare allows me to stay calm and perform at my best.
However!
The time passed, and the car didn't show up. I started to panic. "What should I do...?"
After coordinating with my manager, a taxi finally arrived about 10 minutes late.
Fortunately, because I had scheduled everything with time to spare, I arrived at the studio right on time. Now, to get ready.
"I’m only doing this today, but waking up this early every single day must be tough," I thought to myself as I changed into my outfit and finished my preparations.
When it comes to media appearances, the things I keep in mind are always very simple:
【Speak loudly and clearly】
Why do I value this so much? It’s because first impressions are incredibly important; trying to change an impression later requires many times more energy.
The impression you give someone when you first meet is almost entirely determined by your 【Appearance】, 【Facial Expressions】, and 【Volume of Voice】.
You never know what kind of relationship will develop after that initial greeting, but a heartfelt voice carries energy and passion. As a result, your attitude toward your work gets conveyed effectively.
...Alright. With that basic philosophy in mind, let’s look back at this morning’s episode of Love It!.
My "presentation skills"? Still have a long way to go. Too soft. Even though the ranking turned out well, I know I could have done better.
I’ll take these reflections and use them to improve for next time.
By the way, the restaurant I introduced on the show, Fiesta del Amigo, is truly delicious, so please go try it out.
My relationship with the owner there goes back to before he even opened the shop—26 years, just like my wrestling career.
Actually, I haven't been able to visit recently, so I’m going to go eat there soon to say thank you for their help with the show. Thank you so much for your cooperation!
After the broadcast, there were so many posts on social media about my appearance.
Among them, quite a few were posts lamenting the change in my physique.
Urgh. Next time I appear on Love It!, I'll be so thin that people will start worrying about me...
Wait, no I won't. ( ̄(工) ̄)
