Episode 129: Energy Circulation (Part 2)

August 11, 2026
The other day at Korakuen Hall, a group of middle and high school students participated in the operation of our event as part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's vocational work experience program.

At our morning meeting that day, what I communicated to all our employees wasn't "teach them how to do the job neatly." Above all else, the most important thing was for us to show them our unvarnished "expressions and energy as we face our work with absolute seriousness."
Showing our full-power selves to these young students, who are watching while overlaying their future working selves onto us—
Because I believe that is the very origin of pro wrestling: the "circulation of energy."
A pro wrestling venue isn't something completed merely by following a manual. There exists a sharp, electric tension from carrying the safety of our fans, packed with the genuine resolve of adults giving it their all.
What I wanted to show the seven middle and high school students who joined us this time is the unglamorous, yet undeniably coolest backs of adults facing their work with unbridled passion.
The energy circulation I believe in—its very first step is "baring your earnestness."
Because showing them employees working at full power is, I believe, the single most important element of a workplace experience.
And when we witness their pure, passionate effort, in turn, the hearts of everyone at New Japan tighten with renewed focus.
This exact sequence—"Show your true resolve ➔ Move their hearts ➔ Return that energy ➔ Exceed the limits"—is precisely the secret behind New Japan Pro-Wrestling's strength.

During such an impressionable teenage period, seeing adults being dead serious will undoubtedly be an immense positive for their future lives.
I'm certain that using today as a turning point, their expressions will change into something remarkably dependable... or at least, I really hope so!
Speaking not with words, but with our backs. The passionate, professional spirit of our employees brightly illuminates the future of these students, while their fresh passion re-energizes our workplace once again.
I am convinced that such a circulation of energy begins right from today at Korakuen Hall.
Alright! Let's wrap this up with a quote from Kamen Rider Ghost for the first time in a while:
I'm gonna burn my life force! (Inochi moyasu ze!)
