Episode 6: New Year Resolutions

Happy new year!  

This past year has flown by and 2025 has now begun. Last year was a year of big changes, including moving to Japan and starting school. I set many goals for myself this year, so I'm looking forward to taking this journey with you all! 

Wrestle Kingdom ended in the blink of an eye. 
 

Although we didn't win the titles, I'm not sad at all. This year I want to prove myself as a singles wrestler and show the world what I can really do. 

In my opinion, Catch 2/2 was one of the best teams in NJPW history. But now it's time for me, Francesco Akira to take the United Empire to the highest rank of the Junior Heavyweight Division!

Have you made any New Year resolutions? One of my goals is to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship. Another one is to improve my Japanese! We started using new textbooks at language school, so the first lesson after the break was a little tough (lol). There were some things I forgot. But I'm going to work hard and improve! What I find especially difficult is Kanji. It's really hard to remember and write them, but... it can't be helped, right?

My family also returned to Italy. I was a little sad to say goodbye, but I was really happy to be able to spend a month together in Japan.

Right now I'm going to focus on my goals and move forward! Wishing you all a wonderful year!
